The Garden Club of Harrington Park (GCHP) will hold its next meeting on Thursday, November 3, 2016 at 7:30 pm at the Harrington Park Library, 10 Herring Street, Harrington Park, New Jersey.
Guest speaker Patricia O’Brien Libutti, a/k/a The Urban Herban, will present a pictorial lecture titled Herbally Yours. Pat will discuss the history of herbs, their methods of propagation, and share some special herbal recipes and remedies.
Patricia is a master gardener. She has presented workshops to many New Jersey and Pennsylvania garden clubs focusing on herb history, ethnobotany, and culinary use. She is an “herb keeper” for a county park garden, raises her own herbs, teaches courses to children and adults, and writes the blog urbanherban.blogspot.com/.
The program will be followed by a "Q&A" session and refreshments.
The Garden Club welcomes all gardeners, active and armchair, from all towns to attend their meetings and events.
