Pickleball Clinics for Kids in Fair Lawn: September 24-December 1
Pickleball is an exciting sport that combines fitness and fun. These fall pickleball clinics for kids at Montclair Pickleball in Fair Lawn are designed for children who are eager to pick up a new sport or enhance their pickleball skills. It’s a fantastic way for kids to engage in a social and healthy activity that promotes teamwork and physical well-being. The camps are run by coaches who are fun, experienced, and high-level players. Circus Vazquez in Paramus: October 11-October 28
A trip to the circus is a magical experience for the whole family! Circus Vazquez, America’s largest family-owned big top circus, is coming to Westfield Garden State Plaza in Paramus, October 11-October 28 with its new 2024 production.
Blending the modern with the traditional, and featuring a brand new cast of extraordinary circus superstars, Circus Vazquez brings unforgettable entertainment that is fun for all ages. Its distinctive climate-controlled blue and white tent is the largest of its kind currently touring the U.S. For 55 years, Circus Vazquez has entertained generations of families with an awe-inspiring, death-defying, hilarious, authentic, and affordable circus experience.

Open Cockpit Day at New Jersey Aviation Hall of Fame in Teterboro: Saturday, October 12, 10:30 am-4:00 pm
This popular event at the Aviation Hall of Fame gives visitors the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a very rare Lockheed Bushmaster plane, a U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter, and a M*A*S*H Bell 47 helicopter made famous during the Korean War; and see the cabin and cockpit of the world’s only surviving Martin 202A Airliner.
The event also includes displays featuring a Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter, an
OV-1A Mohawk Observation/Attack Aircraft, a General Aviation Trainer (G.A.T-1) and a
Glider.
Young astronauts won’t want to miss the working display of the International Space Station (ISS) with uniforms and items used by many astronauts like Buzz Aldrin and Scott and Mark Kelly, just to name a few.

A Child’s Life Tour of Ringwood Manor: Saturday, October 12, and Sunday, October 13, at 1:00 pm
Introduce your kids to the history of Ringwood Manor at this fun 45-minute tour focusing on the children of previous Ringwood Manor residents, the Hewitt family. Explore the adventures of the Hewitt family children, discover the games they played, the pranks they pulled, and what life was like for kids in the late 19th century. Scavenger hunts are provided on the tour and afterwards, kids are encouraged to try out reproduction 19th century toys.

Apple Cider Making at Tenafly Nature Center: Sunday, October 13, at 2:00 pm and 3:30 pm

Get ready for spooky family fun at Zoo Boo at the Bergen County Zoo! This Halloween event features trick-or-treating, mad science shows, music, and train rides! It’s the perfect way to celebrate Halloween in Bergen County.
