Fall Pickleball Clinics for Kids in Fair Lawn: September 8-November 16
Pickleball is an exciting sport that combines fitness and fun. These fall pickleball clinics for kids at Montclair Pickleball in Fair Lawn are designed for children who are eager to pick up a new sport or enhance their pickleball skills. It’s a fantastic way for kids to engage in a social and healthy activity that promotes teamwork and physical well-being. The clinics are run by coaches who are fun, experienced, and high-level players.
Fall pickleball clinics for kids ages 9-13 are offered in 10-week sessions. Sign up now!
- Beginner Clinics: Tuesdays from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm
- Intermediate Clinics: Wednesdays from 5:00 pm-6:00 pm

Here’s a fun fall activity to enjoy with your little ones! Perfect for children aged 18 months to 3.5 years and their grownups, this nature program at Lorrimer Sanctuary in Franklin Lakes includes story time, outside exploration, and learning about nature in age-appropriate ways.
The program runs on Thursdays, September 18-November 20, from 10:00 am-10:45 am for the morning session and from 3:00 pm-3:45 pm for the afternoon session.

Open Cockpit Day at Aviation Hall of Fame: Sunday, November 8, 10:30 am-4:00 pm
Don’t miss the final Open Cock Pit Day of the Season! This popular event at the Aviation Hall of Fame gives visitors the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a very rare Lockheed Bushmaster plane, a U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter, and a M*A*S*H Bell 47 helicopter made famous during the Korean War; and see the cabin and cockpit of the world’s only surviving Martin 202A Airliner.
The event also includes displays featuring a Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter, an
OV-1A Mohawk Observation/Attack Aircraft, a General Aviation Trainer (G.A.T-1) and a
Glider.
Young astronauts won’t want to miss the working display of the International Space Station (ISS) with uniforms and items used by many astronauts like Buzz Aldrin and Scott and Mark Kelly, just to name a few.
And before you leave, be sure to sit inside the Aviation Hall of Fame’s Official Airport Rescue Firefighter Truck!

Nature Story Time at Tenafly Nature Center: Saturday, November 15, at 10:00 am
With the Nature Story Time program at Tenafly Nature Center, families with children ages 3-7 can experience fun and educational nature-themed stories and a visit from one of Tenafly Nature Center’s Animal Ambassadors. Learn all about the visiting animal and how they came to the Tenafly Nature Center. New stories and animals are introduced monthly. Animal Ambassadors can include snakes, frogs, turtles, owls, or even a hawk!

Blippi Join The Band Tour at Bergen Performing Arts Center: Saturday, November 29, at 2:00 pm and 6:00 pm
Blippi: Join the Band Tour is coming to Bergen Performing Arts Center for two shows! Blippi, Meekah, their crew of musicians and dancers, and you will explore how sounds, rhythms, and instruments make music through all your favorite Blippi hits.
It’s an interactive, musical adventure that’s fun for the whole family!

Miss Jolie at Temple Emeth in Teaneck: Sunday, November 30, at 1:30 pm
Families are invited to enjoy a delightful hour of music and fun with Miss Jolie, a Bergen County favorite known for her energetic performances and catchy, kid-friendly songs. The show takes place on Sunday, November 30, at 1:30 pm, featuring music, dancing, and bubble fun!
Recommended for ages 3–6, the event encourages kids to sing, dance, and laugh along with Miss Jolie and her ukulele. Admission is $10 per adult, with up to two children free per ticket. Light refreshments will be served, and advance registration is requested.
