Abma’s Farm Market, Wyckoff

Have you ever been to Abma’s Farm? If not, you’re in for a treat! This popular family-owned Wyckoff farm features hayrides, pumpkin picking, a barnyard petting zoo, and a farm market.

Demarest Farms, Hillsdale

Demarest Farms is offering apple and pumpkin picking for fall 2024. Reservations are required for all outings. This Pascack Valley institution also offers hayrides and has a petting zoo.

The farm market at Demarest Farms offers a large selection of produce, fresh apple cider donuts, pies, and many other delicious baked goods. The farm also offers a Halloween Light Show experience that is not to be missed!

Rohsler’s Allendale Nursery, Allendale

Get ready for a fall adventure at Rohsler’s Allendale Nursery! Take an old-fashioned hayride through Rohsler’s nursery and farm where you’ll be surrounded by vibrant autumn foliage and festive decorations. Kids can visit with the barnyard animals and enjoy a maze and games. Every hayride includes a sugar pumpkin and a cup of apple cider. It’s the perfect family outing for the fall season.

Public hayrides are offered on Saturdays and Sundays, September 28-October 27, and on Monday, October 14, from 10:00 am-4:30 pm. Reservations are not needed. Tickets can be purchased when you arrive.

Rohsler’s Allendale Nursery has a large pumpkin patch with an assortment of pumpkins gourds, as well as a Halloween gift shop, and a nursery yard filled with homegrown mums, ornamental cabbage and kale, and colorful fall perennials.

Secor Farms, Mahwah 

Secor Farms is one of our favorite spots for fall family fun in Bergen County. For decades, the family that has owned and operated this wonderful destination has nurtured a warm and welcoming environment for visitors that keeps families returning year after year.

From mid-September-late October 2024, Secor Farms offers hayrides to the pumpkin patch and corn maze! The popular hayride takes you on a scenic tour of the farm, where you’ll pass willow trees, a small pond, and fun fall decorations. Once you make it out to the field, you can explore the corn maze, pick a pumpkin and relax under the rustic pergola.

Secor carries a large selection of gourds, jack-be-little pumpkins, corn stalks, and Halloween decorations, as well as hundreds of mums in full bloom to choose from. Be sure to check out the farm market, which carries various New York State apples, fresh-pressed apple cider, and homemade apple cider donuts. Secor also carries locally grown produce, freshly baked pies, candy apples, and more.

The parking lot at Secor Farms can be hectic, and traffic on Airmont Avenue near the farm can be challenging on pristine fall days. Remain alert while driving, and make sure to hold onto your little ones until you’re safe on the farm grounds.

Ward’s Pumpkin Patch, Ridgewood 

For generations, Ward’s Pumpkin Patch in Ridgewood has been helping Bergen County families make fall memories.

Ward’s offers a large selection of pumpkins, gourds, and squash. They have pumpkins to make common jack-o-lanterns and giant pumpkins, tiny munchkins, and gourds in unusual shapes. Ward’s offers mums, cornstalks, haystacks, and Indian corn, as well as a selection of rotating fall decorations. One of Ward’s most popular items is their painted pumpkins featuring cartoon, sports, and Halloween themes.
