Movie House, located on the first floor of the Paramus Park Mall at 700 Paramus Park in Paramus, is a one-of-a-kind immersive walk-through experience, sure to delight both casual and hard-core movie fans. Movie House promises an unparalleled experience, blending cutting-edge technology and creative and engaging activities with diverse films for audiences of all ages.
Movie House is a unique, family-friendly cinematic-themed experience where guests can immerse themselves in the magic of movies with some of their most beloved films. Every aspect of this venue has been designed to provide an unforgettable experience, from stunning visuals and special effects to entertaining interactive games. Movie House is a combination of immersive activities, escape room challenges, scavenger hunt fun, and popular trivia games, all with great photo ops.
Inside Movie House, guests will find ten unique rooms packed with games, virtual reality-inspired experiences (no glasses needed), photo ops, ‘easter eggs,’ and more. Participants can lose themselves in the Alice in Wonderland Illusion Room or the striking Under The Sea room where guests feel like they are actually underwater, navigate through the Willy Wonka Infinity Tunnel, take a walk through munchkin land in the Wizard of Oz room, experience the magical Harry Potter-inspired room, or head over to the beach-themed room featuring wall-to-wall sand, a boardwalk and beach pong, and a variety of real shark teeth. Additional attractions include the Movie in the Park Experience (with a real movie playing every night) and movie-themed games, including interactive Movie House Trivia in the re-imagined Blockbuster Room.
Guests can also participate in the Movie House Scavenger Hunt. Each room has a board with specific tasks, and after accepting the challenge, participants will enjoy an even more rewarding experience in each of the rooms.
