Glen Rock Halloween Parade, Trunk or Treat, More!

Glen Rock Halloween Events! Glen Rock, New Jersey invites residents to Spooktacular Saturday on October 27, 2018 featuring three Terror-riffic Halloween family fun events.

At 9:00 am, families are invited to Glen Rock Borough Hall for cider and donuts served and sponsored by the WICS. A group picture will be taken in front of Borough Hall before taking off to parade across Maple Avenue and around Wilde Memorial Park, showcasing everyone’s costumes. The parade will end in the front parking lot where families can stay and Trunk or Treat.

There are 33 parking spots for volunteers to pass out candy. Any and all businesses, organizations, or families are invited to register for a spot and pass out candy. No car, no worries. You can still reserve a space for a tent or table. Volunteers are encouraged to decorate their trunks with Halloween decorations, advertisements for their business/organization, but it is not a requirement. To insure that there are enough spaces, each volunteer is asked to register for a space prior to the event. Registration can be found at https://glenrocknjhalloweentrunkortreat.eventbrite.com/.

Volunteers are asked to arrive at Wilde Memorial at 8:30 am and no later than 9:00 am. At 9:00 am, access to the lot will be blocked off. The event will last until 11:30 am. No car will be allowed to leave until 11:30 or until the lot is safely cleared of all children.

In the evening, a movie night will be held in Wilde Memorial. Hotel Transylvania 3 will be shown at 6:00 pm. Bring a chair to sit in, blankets to bundle up, and remember to dress warm.
