Fundraiser for family of Sgt. 1st Class Michael J. Goble: Bergen County native was killed in Afghanistan.

A Go Fund Me campaign has been launched to benefit the family of Bergen County native and hero, Sgt.1st Class Michael J. Goble. Sgt. Goble died Monday, December 23, 2019 from injuries sustained during combat operations in Afghanistan on December 22nd.

Sgt. Goble of Washington Township, New Jersey, was raised in Westwood and graduated from Westwood High School in 2004. He served as a senior intelligence sergeant assigned to Charlie Company, 1st Battalion, 7th Special Forces Group, which is based out of Eglin Air Force Base, Florida.

All donations made to the True American Hero Go Fund Me page will directly benefit Sgt. Goble’s partner, Jennifer Albuquerque, and their daughter, Zoey.
