Learn how maple syrup is made at a family-friendly maple sugaring program at the Hermitage in Ho-Ho-Kus.

See how maple trees are tapped and learn the basics of the maple sugaring process from start to finish. Each family will receive a tap, tubing, and instructions to try tapping their own maple trees at home. The event also includes a chance to sample maple syrup made from last year’s tapping.

The event takes place on Saturday, February 21, and there are 3 sessions to choose from, 1:00 pm, 2:00 pm, or 3:00 pm. The rain date is Sunday, February 22. Find more information and purchase tickets. The Hermitage is located at 335 North Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.
