Our Lady of Mount Carmel Feast and Music Under the Stars in Lyndhurst: July 9-July 12

Our Lady of Mt. Carmel’s Annual Feast and Music Under the Stars Concert Series returns to Lyndhurst, Wednesday, July 9, through Saturday, July 12. The festivities take place at Town Hall Park, 299 Delafield Avenue in Lyndhurst, New Jersey. The Feast runs from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm each evening, with an early start at 5:00 pm on Saturday.
The event kicks off with an opening procession in honor of Our Lady of Mt. Carmel on Wednesday, July 9 at 5:15 pm. The procession begins at the corner of Pine Street and Valley Brook Avenue, heads east on Valley Brook, then turns left onto Delafield Avenue, ending at the feast grounds.

Jazz Under the Stars at Englewood Library: July 10-August 28

Englewood Public Library’s annual Summer Jazz Concert Series, Jazz Under the Stars is back for the summer of 2025. This acclaimed series takes place every Thursday evening at 7:30 pm from July 10 through August 28 on the library’s front plaza. The concert series is free and open to the public. No registration is needed, but be sure to bring a chair or blanket for seating. In case of rain, the concerts will be held in September.

Penguin Rep Theatre Presents Son of Zeus: June 11-July 27

Don’t miss the world premiere of Son of Zeus at Penguin Rep Theatre, July 11-July 27! Set in the heart of Hell’s Kitchen, this new play tells the story of a Greek American son of a single mother who supported him by belly dancing. Described as A Bronx Tale meets Zorba the Greek, Son of Zeus tells the story about family lost, family found, and the challenges of living up to – or letting go of – expectations.
Performances run Thursdays at 7:30 pm; select Friday matinees at 2:00 pm and Friday evenings at 7:30 pm; Saturdays at 3:00 pm and 7:30 pm; and Sunday matinees at 2:00 pm.

Concours on the Palisades: Sunday, July 13, 10:00 am-2:00 pm

Car lovers, don’t miss the 4th annual Concours on the Palisades, a celebration of the finest in luxury, exotic, and vintage automobiles!
More than 100 luxury and exotic cars, from historic classics to the newest and most advanced high-powered vehicles on the road today, will be on display along Main Street and throughout the heart of downtown Fort Lee. This year’s event will feature a special recognition of BMW North America’s 50th Anniversary, with a showcase of BMWs spanning five decades parked along Main Street. Award categories for the 2025 Concours include British, Italian, German, Scandinavian, American, Japanese, Korean, BMW, Movie Cars, Vintage (pre-1960).
Concours on the Palisades is happening on Sunday, July 13, from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in downtown Fort Lee (rain date is August 17). This exciting event, presented by the Business District Alliance (BDA) of Fort Lee, is open to the public, and spectator admission is free.
The 2025 Concours on the Palisades will raise awareness and funds for the Wounded Warrior Project, a nonprofit dedicated to honoring and empowering injured veterans.
