Holiday Open House Kicks Off the Season
Down to Earth Living will kick off the season with its annual Holiday Open House on Saturday, November 8, and Sunday, November 9, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Guests can enjoy a warm, festive atmosphere complete with wine and cheese for adults and complimentary goody bags for kids. Santa will make a special appearance from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm each day, and as always, visits are free. Santa will be back on November 28–29, December 6–7, December 13–14, and December 20–21, so mark your calendar!
The elves at Down to Earth Living have been busy decorating for the 2025 holiday season. For many, the season is about simple joys like roasting marshmallows, sipping hot apple cider, and wrapping gifts for loved ones. This year, Down to Earth Living displays are designed to capture that cozy, nostalgic feeling.

As a special treat this year, visitors can enter to win a $50 Down to Earth Living gift certificate, with one lucky winner selected every hour from noon to 5:00 pm during the Open House. Entry is free, just sign up at the register.
A Winter Wonderland of Holiday Displays
Each holiday season, Down to Earth Living transforms its showroom into a winter wonderland complete with life-like Santas, the latest and most technologically advanced artificial pre-lit Christmas trees, friendly life-size reindeer, hundreds of exclusive ornaments and decorations including Mark Roberts collectibles, adorable holiday gnomes, and a bevy of furry animals tucked among the trees and twinkling lights.

Down to Earth Living is keeping the holiday spirit bright (and affordable!) by holding the line on pricing on pre-lit trees for 2025. The store will once again offer 20% off all pre-lit Christmas trees, maintaining last year’s prices by absorbing increased tariff costs. Along with one of the region’s largest selections of artificial pre-lit trees, Down to Earth also offers premium live Frasier firs, guaranteed to stay fresh and hold their needles through Christmas Day so families can enjoy the magic of the season from start to finish whether they choose a live tree or pre-lit version.
“The only place you will find a more festive experience is on Fifth Avenue during the holidays! We create holiday themed vignettes throughout the showroom and feature some of the finest and most unique holiday decorations anywhere in the tri-state,” states Stuart Leventhal, owner of Down to Earth Living. “Our goal is to have everyone leave here filled with the wonder and magic that Christmas brings each year,” he added.

Down to Earth Living is located on 12.5 acres at 1040 Route 45 in Pomona, New York, and attracts customers from Rockland, Bergen, Orange, Westchester, and even Fairfield County, Connecticut, with its gracious outdoor living furnishings and beautiful home decor. The business is a short distance from Bergen County and is an easy trip from Routes 9W, 17, the Palisades Interstate Parkway, and the Garden State Parkway.
