Englewood Native Nominated for 3 Emmys

Emmy Award winning producer Todd Ehrlich, Dwight Englewood graduate class of 1982, was nominated for 3 New York Emmy Awards in the 56th Annual New York Emmys. Todd Ehrlich, President of T-LINE TV, now has been nominated for 9 Emmy Awards over his career.

All three Emmy Nominated shows aired on WCBS TV in New York.

Komen Race for the Cure is aired in conjunction with the Race for the Cure in Central Park every year, The show's goal is to help lend insight and comfort to those people suffering with breast cancer. The post Super Bowl show highlighted one of the biggest upsets in Super Bowl history and clearly was a great source of pride for Giants fans in the area.”

Emmy Award Nominated Shows Include the following:

• In the community service category, Tunnel to Towers Memorial Run was nominated. The show is a live 9/11 special covering the race whose proceeds benefits the FDNY and severely wounded veterans. Video Link – http://vimeo.com/26695682  

• In the health/science program special category, Race For The Cure was nominated. It is the third time that Ehrlich was nominated for producing this yearly special; he won his first Emmy three years ago for Race For The Cure. The show is an hour special about breast cancer awareness, treatment, and the on-going efforts to find a cure. Video Link- http://vimeo.com/26686914

• And finally, in the Sports Coverage Category, Giants Road to Glory- Super Bowl XLVI Post Game Show garnered a nomination. The live postgame show aired on WCBS-TV after the Giants Super Bowl win over the Patriots. The show included highlights, analysis and live interviews with players on the field directly after the game.

The New York Emmy Awards will be held at the Marriott Marquis, Times Square, New York on April 14, 2013.
