Get ready for an amazing Fourth of July celebration in Paramus! Before the fireworks light up the sky, enjoy the Pre-Fireworks Food Truck Festival followed by a spectacular fireworks display.

The festivities take place at Paramus High School, 99 E. Century Road. The Food Truck Festival begins at 2:00 pm featuring 20+ grourmet food trucks, music, and family friendly activities followed by a fireworks display at dusk. Find more information here.

Glen Rock Tribute Run 5K and Kids Fun Run: Saturday, July 4 at 8:00 am

Enjoy running along the beautiful streets of Glen Rock in this annual community event on July 4th before the Glen Rock parade starts. Then stick around to enjoy the parade itself!

The event features a 5K Run that begins at 8:00 am and a Kids Fun Run starting at approximately 8:45 am. Registration and the start of the 5k takes place at Memorial Park. The Kids Fun Run will begin where the 5k finishes at “The Glen Rock” at the intersection of Rock Road and Doremus Avenue.

Proceeds benefit G.R.A.C.E., an organization set up after 911 to provide assistance to family members of those who died in the terrorist attacks. G.R.A.C.E. continues its work by maintaining the 911 Memorial in Glen Rock, and providing scholarship funds to High School Seniors in memory of Glen Rock’s eleven victims.

Bergen County Star-Spangled Spectacular at Overpeck Park Amphitheater in Ridgefield Park: Saturday, July 4, at 2:00 pm

Bergen County’s Star-Spangled Spectacular is back this July 4th at the Overpeck Park Amphitheater in Ridgefield Park. The festivities kick off at 2:00 pm with a performance by the New Jersey Wind Symphony. The fun continues from there with more live music including a special performance from Bergen County natives, the legendary hip-hop group The Sugarhill Gang.

The celebration also features 20+ food trucks, a beer and wine garden, activities for kids, carnival attractions, and a stunning fireworks show to conclude the evening.

Be sure to bring your blankets and chairs. Find more information and an event schedule here. The Overpeck Park Amphitheater is located at 199 Challenger Road in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. Rain date is July 5.

Join the Village of Ridgefield Park for its annual Fourth of July Celebration!

Reading of Declaration of Independence and Ceremonies: The day begins at 7:30 am at Euclid Avenue and Mt. Vernon Street with a public reading of the Declaration of Independence at the Memorial Plaza, followed by a Flag Raising Ceremony by the Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts at 7:45 am. The Fire Department and Emergency Units present their personnel and equipment for review at 8:00 am.

Baby & Youth Parade: Kicks off at 9:00 am at Poplar Street and Euclid Avenue. Children from the village and surrounding areas take part by walking or riding in decorated carriages, floats, and decorated bicycles.

Civic Parade: Starts at 11:30 am at Preston Street and Hudson Avenue. The main parade features fraternal and village organizations, youth and sporting associations, bands and plenty of community spirit.

Evening Concert and Fireworks: The celebration wraps up at Veterans Park (Overlook Avenue and Poplar Street) with a spectacular fireworks display.

4th of July Celebration at Foschini Park in Hackensack: Friday, July 4 at 4:00 pm

This party at Foschini Park in Hackensack offers everything you need for a happy 4th of July! And it’s free!

The celebration kicks off with the Hackensack Police Department and Fire Department Softball Game at 10:00 am, then enjoy food trucks and family games and activities at 4:00 pm, followed by live music from Filet of Soul at 7:30 pm, and a spectacular Fireworks Show at 9:00 pm.

Celebrate Independence Day with a guided walking tour at Historic New Bridge Landing, a Bergen County landmark that played a major role throughout the American Revolution. Because of its strategic bridge crossing, the site saw military activity during every year of the war, serving at various times as a battleground, encampment ground, military headquarters, and intelligence-gathering post.

Learn about the site’s Revolutionary War history while exploring the grounds before concluding at the historic 1752 Steuben House for a tour along with lemonade, iced tea, and cookies.
