2018 Andiamo Motorcycle Charity Run: Andiamo Restaurant will host its 19th annual Motorcycle Charity Run on Sunday, September 9th at 10:20 am, bringing together nearly 1,000 riders and thousands of participants in one of New Jersey’s largest fundraisers on wheels. Rain date is Sunday, September 16th.
Led by a motorcycle police brigade, with representatives from police departments from all over New Jersey and New York, the ride departs from Andiamo Restaurant, 23 Hardenburgh Aenue, Haworth and follows a 60-mile course through northeast New Jersey and Southeast New York. When the ride wraps up, Andiamo Restaurant will host a block party celebration with food and entertainment.
Proceeds will support the Englewood Health Foundation, Haworth Volunteer Ambulance, Special Olympics, Haworth Police Auxiliary, Andiamo Scholarship to St. Therese School, and other local charities. Don Dickstein, owner of Andiamo Restaurant, initially launched the run in 2000 to raise funds for the Cresskill Police Department, and has since expanded the event in support of additional charity beneficiaries.
