Kids Spring Pickleball Clinics in Fair Lawn: April 6-June 11
Pickleball is an exciting sport that combines fitness and fun. The clinics at Montclair Pickleball in Fair Lawn are designed for children who are eager to pick up a new sport or enhance their pickleball skills. It’s a fantastic way for kids to engage in a social and healthy activity that promotes teamwork and physical well-being. The clinics are run by coaches who are fun, experienced, and high-level players.
Spring pickleball clinics for kids ages 6-13 are offered in 10-week sessions, April 6 through June 11. Sign up now!
- Beginner Clinics for Kids Ages 6-8 run on Fridays from 4:30 pm-5:30 pm
- Beginner Clinics for Kids Ages 9-13 run on Mondays from 4:30 pm-5:30 pm

Bubble Show at Bergen Town Center: Saturday, May 16, at 11:00 am
A live bubble show will take place at Bergen Town Center in Paramus on Saturday, May 16, at 11:00 a.m.
Held in Center Court near the children’s play area, the event will feature a bubble artist creating giant bouncing bubbles, including bubbles within bubbles and more fun.

Open Cockpit Day at NJ Aviation Hall of Fame in Teterboro: Saturday, May 16, 10:30 am-4:00 pmThis popular event at the NJ Aviation Hall of Fame gives visitors the opportunity to sit in the cockpit of a very rare Lockheed Bushmaster plane, a U.S. Coast Guard Rescue Helicopter, and a M*A*S*H Bell 47 helicopter made famous during the Korean War; and see the cabin and cockpit of the world’s only surviving Martin 202A Airliner.
The event also includes displays featuring a Bell AH-1 Cobra helicopter, an
OV-1A Mohawk Observation/Attack Aircraft, a General Aviation Trainer (G.A.T-1) and a
Glider.
Young astronauts won’t want to miss the working display of the International Space Station (ISS) with uniforms and items used by many astronauts like Buzz Aldrin and Scott and Mark Kelly, just to name a few.
And before you leave, be sure to sit inside the Aviation Hall of Fame’s Official Airport Rescue Firefighter Truck!

Nature Story Time at Tenafly Nature Center: Saturday, May 16, at 10:00 am
With the Nature Story Time program at Tenafly Nature Center, families with children ages 3-7 will enjoy fun and educational nature-themed stories and a visit from one of Tenafly Nature Center’s Animal Ambassadors. Learn all about the visiting animal and how they came to the Tenafly Nature Center. New stories and animals are introduced monthly. Animal Ambassadors can include snakes, frogs, turtles, owls, or even a hawk!

EarthFest Overpeck: Sunday, May 17, 12:00 pm-5:00 pm
Celebrate clean water, environmental awareness, and our planet at the annual EarthFest Overpeck. Presented in partnership between Hackensack Riverkeeper and Bergen County Parks, this family-friendly event will feature 50+ green vendors, food trucks, children’s activities, a birds-of-prey presentation, free kayaking and canoeing, a fishing derby, live performances, and more.

Finding Nemo Kids at bergenPAC: Sunday, May 17, at 11:00 am
The Bergen Performing Arts Center will present Disney’s Finding Nemo KIDS on Sunday, May 17, at 11:00 am. This 30-minute musical is based on the popular Pixar film and features original songs by award-winning composers Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez.
The story follows Marlin, an overprotective clownfish who lives in the Great Barrier Reef with his son, Nemo. When Nemo is unexpectedly taken to Sydney, Marlin sets out across the ocean to find him. Along the way, he meets a group of memorable characters, including the forgetful but upbeat Dory, the easygoing sea turtle Crush, and a cast of aquarium fish known as the Tank Gang.
As Marlin searches for his son, both he and Nemo overcome challenges on their journey to find each other and themselves.

Action Academy Bergen County (AABC) is hosting its annual Children’s Business Fair on Saturday, May 23, from 10:00 am-2:00 pm at AABC, 300 High Street in Closter, New Jersey.
The fair features 100+ kid-created, kid-run businesses, showcasing young entrepreneurs selling products ranging from arts and crafts to candles and jewelry and offering services from hair braiding to interactive games. Every booth is a business built from scratch by a young innovator.

Celebrate Father’s Day with a gift that’s both creative and meaningful at this hands-on kids workshop at Abma’s Farm on Thursday, June 18 and Saturday, June 20 with several time slots to choose from.
