Harley's Irish Pub in Hackensack, New Jersey, one of northern New Jersey's most popular Irish restaurants, will be hosting their annual Irish Soda Bread Competition on Sunday, March 10, 2013, following the Bergen County Saint Patrick's Day Parade.
Competitors are asked to arrive at Harley's by 4:00 pm. The actual judging will take place from 5:00-6:30 pm.
Harley's is a fun place to be on any day of the year, but this is a Bergen County seasonal event you do not want to miss. You don't have to bake to be a part of the fun. In fact, most members of the crowd are invited to participate in the judging. Be prepared for a competitive contest mixed with a lot of good natured teasing and fun. There will also be bagpipers performing, Guinness on tap and great food.
