Mahwah Mayor La Foret has declared June 9, 2012 "Les Paul Day" to celebrate what would have been Les Paul's 97th birthday.
Paul, a legendary performer and inventor, lived in Mahwah for more than 50 year prior to his death in 2009.
The Mahwah Museum's Gala Birthday Party will be at 7:30 pm on June 9, 2012 at the Trustees Pavilion at Ramapo College which will feature live music by Lou Pallo, Tommy Doyle and Sandy Cory, as well has wine, hors d'oeuvres and light fare, a live auction, silent auction and raffle.
