The COVID-19 pandemic certainly put the brakes on many, but not all plans for the new owners of Primo Hoagies of Mahwah, New Jersey. While the reopening of this restaurant franchise, located at 320 Ridge Road, was put on hold as New Jersey shut down due to the coronavirus crisis, it did not stop owners Anthony Falange and Felix Galinsky from following through with one of their core missions which is to give back to their community.
“We have donated hundreds of hoagies to the essential workers in our area, and will continue even after we open,” explained co-owner Anthony Falange. “We recognized a need and an opportunity to help local essential workers and first responders such as the Mahwah Police, EMT’s, Amazon Shipping Center and others. We owe them so much more than just hoagies, but we wanted to show our appreciation for their hard work during this crisis.”
In addition to their active support of local heroes, Falange and Galinsky have been busy perfecting the safest methods of food preparation and presentation, while training their team to provide exemplary customer service for a new world where social distancing best practices and safety precautions are necessary and expected.

Now, let’s talk about the food! If you’ve not experienced a Primo Hoagie, you’re in for a treat.
