Things to do in Bergen County!
Bergen Community College will host an open house for prospective students and their families on Thursday, November 13, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the institution’s main campus at 400 Paramus Road in Paramus. Attendees will have the opportunity to tour the College’s facilities, review associate degree and certificate options, meet with faculty and explore campus resources.
The open house will include workshops on financial aid and key programs such as the Community College Opportunity Grant, which offers a tuition-free Bergen experience, and the Educational Opportunity Fund, which provides both financial assistance and academic support for eligible students. Bergen features a nationally recognized tutoring center, a state-of-the-art STEM Student Research Center, experiential learning spaces such as the Health Professions Integrated Teaching Center and a federally recognized one-stop student services center.
Additionally at the open house, prospective students can explore Bergen’s dynamic campus life offerings, which include more than 50 student clubs and organizations, 14 Division III sports and holistic student support services.
Bergen offers more than 120 areas of study including aviation, paramedic science, criminal justice, computer animation and a Center for Online Learning where students can earn a degree in one of six disciplines entirely online. The College also offers options through its Division of Continuing Education and Workforce Development for adults pursuing new skills or strengthening existing ones.
