Retreat Day at Fort Lee Historic Park

Each year, Fort Lee Historic Park hosts Retreat Day to mark the 1776 British invasion of New Jersey and the start of General George Washington’s famed “Retreat to Victory.” The annual event takes place on the weekend closest to the historic date of November 20, bringing history to life where it actually happened.

The event includes Revolutionary War re-enactments with music, demonstrations and more, and takes place at Fort Lee Historic Park, Hudson Terrace in Fort Lee, New Jersey, from 9:00 am-4:00 pm (with a parade to Monument Park at noon). For more information, click here or call 201-461-1776.
