From kiddie rides to thrill rides and everything in between, State Fair Meadowlands offers rides for kids of all ages. The Fair’s midway features the area’s only Sky Ride. This fan-favorite provides birds-eye views of the Fair and nearby New York City – along with 150 rides and attractions, great entertainment, shopping, scrumptious food, and the largest Kiddy Land in New Jersey.
World-Class Entertainment
- Pirates of the Colombian Caribbean is a world-renowned family high-wire act. The drama of Good vs. Bad Pirates unfolds in wires suspended 30 feet in the air over the top of a giant pirate ship.
- Cycle Circus Live is the largest FMX entertainment show of its kind in the world. It stars world champion FMX cyclist daredevils who’ll amaze you with their stunts set to high-tech pyrotechnics, music, and lighting.
- Big Bee-The Transforming Robot Car: This is a “Don’t Miss” event for fans of the movie Transformers. Watch as the yellow and black “Bee” sports car transforms into a 15’ action robot.
- Racing Pigs is one of the Fair’s most beloved attractions. Watch the adorable oinkers as they race around the track for a tasty treat and first-place glory.
- Petting Zoo: Adults and children alike will enjoy this visit with animals from around the world, including ponies, goats, llamas, donkeys, and more.
- Spectacular Fireworks Display: This Fourth of July celebration is visible from anywhere on the Fairgrounds and will be held on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4.
- Jurassic Kingdom: This fun and educational show allow visitors to step back in time and be amazed by and interact with life-like dinosaurs.
- The Steve Bayner Hypnotist Show: Expect plenty of fun and laughs when Bayner invites a group of people on stage and then lulls them into a hysterical trance in real-time!
- Strolling Magician Artie Miller presents his fabulous magic show while engaging fans.

Don’t worry; State Fair Meadowlands has you covered there, too, with plenty of fresh veggies and salads to choose from. Don’t forget dessert! The Fair runs from Thursday, June 23 through Sunday, July 10 and is open Monday-Thursday from 6:00 pm-12:00 am, Fridays from 6:00 pm-1:00 am, Saturdays from 2:00 pm-1:00 am and Sundays from 2:00 pm-12:00 am. *Note: The Fair is open from 2:00 pm-1:00 am on Sunday, July 3 and Monday, July 4.
