Black Box Studios performs Shakespeare’s The Tempest at the Englewood Public Library on Wednesday, September 9th and Wednesday, September 23rd at 8:00 pm. This performance is part of Black Box Studios “Shakespeare in the Park” series in Bergen County. Registration is required to attend, no exceptions. Register here.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there is a maximum of 50 guests allowed (Englewood Library cardholders only unless maximum not reached). Bring your own chair or blanket. Masks and social distancing required.

The Tempest is a play about magic, betrayal, love and forgiveness. It is set on an island somewhere near Italy where Prospero, the one-time Duke of Milan, and his beautiful daughter, Miranda, live with a sprite called Ariel and a strange wildman called Caliban.

Black Box Studios has been involved with educational theater for the past eleven years, expanding to professional theater a few years ago.
