Paramus Heart of Service Showcase: The Bergen Volunteer Center is hosting the Heart of Service Showcase on Thursday, September 6th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm at the Paramus Park Mall, 700 Paramus Park, Paramus. Non-profits supporting various human, faith-based, government and social service needs will span the mall to provide information regarding volunteerism to the community. Individuals of all ages are welcome to come to the showcase to have the opportunity to talk one-on-one with agencies regarding service.
“Volunteering strengthens the community and teaches people such values as kindness, empathy and respect for others. The Heart of Service showcase provides an opportunity for our neighbors and non-profit partners to come together and celebrate volunteerism,” says Debbie Emery, Director of Community and Youth Engagement for the Volunteer Center. “Now that you are back to school and back from your summer fun, it is time to go back to service!”.
