Overpeck County Park Festival: Join Bergen County Parks and Hackensack Riverkeeper at the 5th Annual EarthFest Overpeck, a celebration of clean water and a healthy environment. The festival is Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 1:00-5:00 pm and will be held at the amphitheater at Overpeck County Park in Ridgefield Park, New Jersey. The Recycled Regatta – a race between boats made from recycled/household materials – will kick off the day’s festivities at noon at Overpeck Park Kayak Center near the 50 Fort Lee Road, Leonia entrance.
The festival will feature the Recycled Regatta, free kayaking and canoeing, fishing derby, live music, food trucks, children’s activities and games including Mad Scientist with Nick Nitro, green vendors and more!
“Green” vendors, local environmental commissions, non-profit environmental groups, food trucks, and those looking to build a Regatta Regatta boat are invited to participate. Call Hackensack Riverkeeper at 201-968-0808 for more information.
