Tenafly Nature Center is holding an outdoor nature day camp on Martin Luther King Jr. Day, Monday, January 18th from 9:00 am-3:30 pm. The camp is offered in two groups, grades 1 and 2 and grades 3 through 6. Children will explore TNC woods and trails, make crafts, share stories and play games while learning about the environment and the leaders who made a difference in the natural world.
Winter-themed activities may include visits with live animals and hiking through the snow. Sign up early. You won’t want your children to miss this fun, hands-on nature experience of outdoor discovery, and the chance to explore TNC’s native hardwood forest and pond ecosystems.
Camp will be held 100% outdoors. In cold temperatures, a campfire will be lit and heat lamps will be turned on. All campers and staff must wear a face mask.
