The Ramapo Orchid Society will hold its monthly meeting at 7:00 pm on Thursday, October 20, 2016 at the Flat Rock Brook Nature Center on Van Nostrand Avenue, in Englewood New Jersey. Speaker, John Rogan, will present “Vitamins and Hormones for Orchids".
John has received 35 AOS awards and many best of shows. He is now sharing his experience and knowledge with other growers about his findings in using Superthrive as an additive to fertilizer solutions. He still has one of his original orchids from 1977, an oncidium splendidum, that blooms every year.
The orchid club welcomes all interested orchid growers – from those with one plant, to experts. Every meeting starts with refreshments and a show table displaying plants brought in to discuss.
