About the film
Directed by Emily Strong and hosted by Top Chef contender Chrissy Camba, this vibrant documentary-style series takes viewers inside five bustling international grocery stores across America and the diverse communities they serve.
Along the way, Chrissy is joined by special guests and food lovers as they shop for ingredients and prepare meaningful family recipes, celebrating global food traditions through shared meals and personal stories. It’s a flavorful, feel-good look at how food connects cultures and brings people together.

This special screening is presented in connection with the Teaneck International Film Festival (TIFF) as part of Indie Lens Pop-Up, a partnership between TIFF, The Puffin Foundation, and PBS.
