The Curtis Brothers, Zaccai Curtis (piano) and Luques Curtis (bass), are Grammy-winning musicians known for their deep-rooted connection to jazz, Afro-Caribbean rhythms, and modern improvisation. Born to Dominican parents and raised in the U.S., their sound reflects a powerful fusion of cultures, blending straight-ahead jazz with Latin, Caribbean, and global influences. Both accomplished bandleaders and collaborators, they have performed and recorded with an impressive range of artists, including Eddie Palmieri, Christian Scott, Wynton Marsalis, and Stefon Harris, among others.
