Teaneck Tailgate

Teaneck Tailgate, the ultimate tailgate block party, is happening on Sunday, September 28, from 1:00 pm-7:00 pm on Cedar Lane in Teaneck, New Jersey. The rain date is October 5. The event benefits the Teaneck Parent Teacher Student Organization (PTSO) and Teaneck Public Schools 

Teaneck Tailgate, produced by T.H. Experiences & AK Productions with support from the Township of Teaneck, Teaneck Chamber of Commerce, Cedar Lane Management, New Jersey Family, Holy Name, FDU, First Commerce Bank, the Teaneck Public Schools and more, brings together schools, local businesses, and families for a day of food, music, entertainment, and community spirit. 

Enjoy food and drinks with over 30 food vendors and trucks, including Wandering Que, Cousins Maine Lobster, Culcha Caribbean, Cupcake Carriage, and Clyde’s Ice & Ice Cream. MK Valencia will host a bar with cocktails, beer, and sangria, while non-alcoholic options include Wild Bill’s Soda and Shirley Temples. Pets are included too, thanks to Groomington Eats Dog Food Truck. 

The Teaneck High School PTSO will showcase Highwaymen pride with a Dunk Tank fundraiser featuring team leaders and the principal, plus live performances by the cheerleaders, flag twirlers, and band. “We’re bringing the spirit, the smiles, and a whole lot of Highwaymen energy,” said PTSO President Christina Pami. 

Live Entertainment Schedule: 

• 1:00 pm – School of Rock Cresskill 
• 2:00 pm – Teaneck Pep Rally Parade featuring the Teaneck High School Highwaymen, cheerleaders, flag twirlers, and band.
• 3:00 pm – Nick DiBari Band with country, pop-folk, and classic rock favorites 

There will be plenty of family fun and games with sports challenges, tailgate games, and a 360° photo booth (sponsored by FDU). Guests can also win $20 in Food Truck Bucks every hour sponsored by First Commerce Bank.
