Ridgewood Y Healthy Kids Day

Healthy Kids Day, the YMCA’s national initiative and largest single-day event dedicated to the youth development and the health and well-being of kids and families, is returning to the Ridgewood Y on Saturday, April 18 from 11:00 am-1:00 pm.

For more than 30 years, the Ridgewood Y has hosted this free, community-wide celebration to kick off the warmer months. The event encourages children to stay active, engaged, and healthy both physically and mentally throughout the summer and beyond.

Families are invited to take part in a kid-friendly festival featuring a variety of activities, including face painting, games and physical activities, story time with the Ridgewood Library, touch-a-truck with the Ridgewood Police and Fire Departments, Camp Bernie critter meet and greet, seed planting, sensory tables, crafts, and information on youth programs, summer camp, and swim lessons.
