Northern Highlands Tunnel to Towers Walk/Run in Allendale

Northern Highlands Regional High School students are hosting a special community event as part of the school’s DECA Club community giving project. This student-led effort brings together the Northern Highlands and Allendale communities to honor and support America’s heroes.

All proceeds from the event will benefit the Tunnel to Towers Foundation, which provides mortgage-free homes to Gold Star and fallen first responder families, builds specially adapted smart homes for injured veterans, and supports efforts to end veteran homelessness.

This year’s Walk/Run also honors Staff Sergeant Joseph D’Augustine, a local hero whose courage and sacrifice continue to inspire the Northern Highlands and local communities. His story reflects the spirit of service, resilience, and unity that this event celebrates.

In addition to the run and walk, the day features food, music, games, giveaways, and prizes. Enjoy a day of community fun while supporting an important cause. 

The event takes place on Saturday, November 15, from 10:00 am to 12:30 pm at Northern Highlands Regional High School, 298 Hillside Avenue in Allendale, New Jersey. Find more information and register for the event here.
