Nick Smeriglio is a New York–based actor, stand-up comedian, content creator, and podcast producer known for grounded charisma and sharp comedic instincts across stage, screen, and digital platforms.
Originally from Arlington Heights, Illinois, he earned a marketing degree from Marquette University. While working full time in ad sales at Paramount, he was cast in a coached ensemble at Second City Chicago, where weekly rehearsals helped ignite his transition into entertainment. His final show concluded one week before the COVID-19 lockdown, prompting him to begin posting original sketches and impressions on TikTok, where he quickly gained traction.
In 2021, he left corporate life to pursue entertainment full-time. He began hosting Zanies Rosemont’s weekly showcase and has since performed at venues including Caroline’s on Broadway and Governor’s of Levittown, sharing the stage with Jay Leno, Jeff Garlin, and Anthony Rodia. He appeared in a national Major League Baseball (MLB) commercial during the 2025 season, cast as a Chicago Cubs fan as part of the campaign. His television appearances include a social media clip featured on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Fox News, Good Day New York (Fox 5 NY), and WGN-TV. He has also collaborated with the sketch group I Mostly Blame Myself, which earned a slot at the 2024 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. He made his acting debut as Tommy in the short film Statistical Probabilities (2023), earning Best Supporting Actor as the film screened at multiple national festivals. His work extends to voiceover, including audiobook narration, including Mob Adjacent. He is also a producer of the Growing Up Italian podcast and manages social media accounts within the restaurant and entertainment space.
