Colombian born multi-instrumentalist, singer, and composer emerging as one of the most exciting young musical talents of his generation. Simón has made history as the youngest Latin musician to perform at the iconic Blue Note stages in New York and São Paulo, giving “solo double bass” concerts at ages 12 and 13. He is currently a member of the Jazz at Lincoln Center Youth Orchestra, performing at world-class venues such as the Appel Room, the Atrium of Jazz at Lincoln Center, and the Rose Theater, developing a musical approach that combines technical rigor, compositional sensitivity, and historical awareness of jazz.
