MLK Day of Service at the Boys & Girls Club in Lodi (1pm-5pm)

The Boys & Girls Club of Lower Bergen County will host a Martin Luther King Jr. Day of Service on Monday, January 19, at its Lodi Clubhouse, from 1:00 to 5:00 pm. The event is free and open to the public.

The afternoon begins with a resource fair from 1:00 to 3:00 pm, set up in a college-fair style format. Visit information tables to learn about programs, organizations, and agencies that offer free or low-cost services for families and the local community.

From 3:00 to 5:00 pm, the focus shifts to hands-on service. Volunteers will take part in a community packaging project, assembling items for people in need as a way to honor Dr. King’s legacy through action and service.

The Day of Service offers an opportunity for individuals and families to connect with local resources, give back to the community, and participate in a meaningful way on Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
