Looking for something fun and educational for kids during winter break? The Mini Zoo Camp at the Bergen County Zoo, designed for kids ages 6-8, offers young animal lovers a fun and engaging way to learn about animals while school is out.
Mini Zoo Camp takes place on February 16 and 17, with flexible options to attend one day or sign up for both sessions. Here’s the schedule:
Monday, February 16, 9:00 am-1:00 pm: Fur, Feather, and Frozen Fields
Some animals have natural abilities that would make them winter Olympians in their own right. At Mini Zoo Camp, kids will learn how different animals use their unique skills to adapt, survive, and thrive in cold winter conditions.
Tuesday, February 17, 9:00 am-1:00 pm: Arctic Athletes
Some animals have abilities that would make them winter Olympians in their own right. This session explores the physical prowess, ingenuity and resilience of nature’s own artic athletes.
