Things to do in Bergen County!
Developing social skills while having fun at summer camp! Sounds good, right? JDK Social Station’s Summer Camps focus on fostering social and emotional development through fun-filled themed weeks of camp. Camps run from August 4 through August 29, from 9:00 am-2:00 pm (full day) or 9:00 am-12:00 pm (half-day). Choose one week or all four! Before and aftercare is available.
With a focus on social skills, fun, and exploration, the camps provide a welcoming and supportive environment where kids can build friendships, gain confidence, and try new experiences. Each week brings a fresh theme, offering a variety of activities that spark curiosity and keep campers engaged all summer long.
Here’s a look at what’s in store for this year’s summer camps at JDK Social Station…
Get ready for a week of sensory science fun! Young scientists will dive into fun experiments—creating slime, foam, and playdough, building volcanoes and tornadoes, and so much more! As imaginations run wild, campers will discover how science, math, and reading come together in a world of hands-on exploration. Kids build important social skills like practicing good manners, respecting personal space, respecting one another, waiting their turn, and working together
Each day of camp will feature a different holiday or special event—think Birthday Day, Halloween, Winter Holiday Day, and more! Campers will dress up, practice party skills, go trick-or-treating, and take part in fun holiday-themed activities. The grand finale? A talent show where every camper gets a chance to shine and perform for an audience! Along the way, kids will build confidence and social skills, learning how to navigate parties, celebrations, and performances in a fun and supportive environment.
