Holiday Photos with a Horse to Benefit Our Stable Life

Bergen Equestrian Center is introducing something new for the season: Holiday Photos with a Horse. Book a session and take festive pictures alongside one of the center’s gentle horses. Props will be available, including wreaths, Santa hats, and Hanukkah decorations, so you can tailor the photo to whatever you celebrate.

Holiday photo sessions with the horses will take place on Sunday, December 7, from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm. A suggested donation of $35 supports the center’s free equine-assisted programs for individuals facing life challenges. More information is available at bergenequestrian.com/support.

Bergen Equestrian Center is located in Overpeck Park in Leonia, about 10 minutes from the George Washington Bridge. The center is also home to Our Stable Life, an equine-facilitated therapy program founded by Bergen County resident Anna Gassib, an Associate Counselor who specializes in equine therapy, trauma, Gestalt, and person-centered approaches. Anna and her team offer workshops and support for individuals dealing with trauma, post-traumatic stress, domestic violence, crime victimization, relationship and emotional challenges, addiction, grief, and other life difficulties.

Our Stable Life is a wellness program focused on mental health and emotional well-being. The team works with individuals as well as community organizations, including the Women’s Rights Information Center, Bergen Family Center, Bergen County Spring House, and Covenant House Newark.
