Things to do in Bergen County!
Bring the whole family—and your dog—for a fun and educational day in the park! Ridgewood’s annual Daffodil Festival and Earth Day celebration will take place on Sunday, April 27, from 11:00 am to 2:30 pm in Memorial Park at Van Neste Square in Ridgewood.
The event features a full lineup of family-friendly activities, including a petting zoo, live music, crafts, demonstrations, and educational displays. You’ll also find vendors offering products and services focused on sustainability and natural living.
A highlight of the day is the always-popular Daffy Dog Parade at 12:30 pm. Leashed dogs and their owners are encouraged to come in costume and join the fun. Parade registration begins at noon at the Ridgewood Veterinary Hospital booth.
This year’s theme, “H2O Optimize: Protecting Our Water,” reflects the issues
being addressed by the Village of Ridgewood through local government involvement and volunteer committees, programs and projects. These issues include: conservation, water quality and flood mitigation.
The event is sponsored by the Village of Ridgewood Department of Parks, Conservancy for Ridgewood Public Lands, and Green Ridgewood and promises a great day of community engagement, learning, and springtime fun.
