“Container Vegetable Gardening” Presented by Garden Club of Harrington Park

The Garden Club of Harrington Park will kick off the New Year with its first meeting of 2026 on Thursday, February 5, at 7:30 pm, held at Community Church Founders’ Hall, located at 1 Spring Street.

The evening’s program, “Container Vegetable Gardening,” will be presented by Robyn Lowenthal, a Master Gardener with a passion for helping people grow successfully in any space. Whether you have a small balcony, patio, or a spacious backyard, container gardening makes it easy to grow vegetables and flowers with minimal maintenance. Robyn will cover container and soil selection, planning and planting tips, and strategies for managing pests and diseases.

Robyn also runs a therapeutic horticulture program for developmentally disabled adults and enjoys growing everything from tropicals and annuals to shrubs and vegetables. Her presentation will be followed by a Q and A session.

All are welcome to attend the meeting — Membership is not required.
