A New Jersey native and graduate of William Paterson University, Hendrix has performed and recorded with legends including Christian McBride, Wynton Marsalis, and the Count Basie Orchestra. His playing blends technical brilliance with soulful depth — combining crisp articulation, fiery improvisation, and a rich, commanding tone.
