
Revolutionary War Encampment at the Hermitage

Step back into American history on July 11 as members of Outwater’s Militia and other reenactment groups bring 1778 to life at The Hermitage, recreating the period when George Washington’s troops stayed on the grounds during the Revolutionary War.
The event features military reenactments, live performances by Ridley and Anne Enslow and the Tricorne Dancers, plus demonstrations from a blacksmith, colonial cooks, spinning wheel artisans, and more.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for children, and free for children under 6, with tickets available at the gate. Find more information here. The Hermitage is located at 335 N. Franklin Turnpike in Ho-Ho-Kus, New Jersey.
