Lilacs are a favorite spring bloom, known for their fragrance and clusters of colorful flowers that signal the start of the season.

The New Jersey Botanical Garden (NJBG) will host a free Lilac Garden Workshop, taking place during NJBG’s Open House, on Saturday, April 18, from 10:00 am-12:00 pm.

Bring a trowel, clippers, kneeling pad, gloves, and a drink and meet in the Carriage House. Visit NJBG.org to find more information. The New Jersey Botanical Garden is located on Morris Road in Ringwood, New Jersey.
