Glamour for Good: The Community Chest’s Annual Benefit at Alpine Country Club

The Community Chest of Eastern Bergen County will host its annual charity benefit, “Glamour for Good: Support One, Impact Many,” on Tuesday, October 6, 2026, from 6:30 to 9:30 pm at Alpine Country Club in Demarest, New Jersey.

The evening will be emceed by Emmy Award-winning television journalist, producer and director Harry Martin. Net proceeds will support The Community Chest’s grants to nonprofit organizations and community initiatives serving people in need throughout eastern Bergen County.

Supporting Local Nonprofits and Community Programs

In recognition of The Community Chest’s focus on food insecurity, table decorations will feature fresh fruits and vegetables that will be donated to local food pantries after the event.

For 93 years, The Community Chest has carried on its tradition of neighbors helping neighbors by raising funds through the generosity of individuals and local businesses and investing those resources in programs that strengthen the community.

Honoring Community Leaders

The Community Chest will recognize the following Honorees:

• Outstanding Trustee Award: Matthew B. Libien
• Community Action Heroes: Diane Jansen and Walter Young
• Community Service Award: Korean Community Services

Live Jazz and Evening Entertainment

The evening will also feature live jazz by the Richard Baratta Quartet with special guest Alicia Olatuja, acclaimed mezzo-soprano and jazz vocalist.

Guests will enjoy cocktails, dinner, entertainment, community awards and a benefit auction.
