Garden Club of Harrington Park Presents Daffodils and Beyond: Spring Ephemerals for Fall Planting
The Garden Club of Harrington Park will hold its first meeting of the new season on Thursday, September 10, at 7:30 pm at Community Church’s Founders’ Hall, 1 Spring Street in Harrington Park.
The evening’s guest speaker will be Bergen County Master Gardener Christine Kozar, who will present Daffodils and Beyond: Spring Ephemerals for Fall Planting.
Learn What to Plant This Fall for Spring Color
Daffodils, tulips, crocuses, and hyacinths are among the most familiar signs of spring. Kozar will take a closer look at these favorites and introduce additional spring-blooming plants that can be planted in the fall for color when the growing season returns.
A lifelong gardener and retired middle school teacher, Kozar has been a Bergen County Master Gardener since 2019. Her work focuses on helping people start and expand gardens, and she also enjoys working with young people interested in gardening, the environment, and ecosystems.
