Celebrate Juneteenth at the 5th Annual Juneteenth Nature Walk at Flat Rock Brook Nature Center in Englewood on Thursday, June 19, from 10:00 am to noon.

This free, family-friendly event begins with some Juneteenth history led by Tevra of NJ in Color, followed by a moderate guided hike through the nature preserve followed by post-hike stretching exercises.

The Shirvan Family Live Well Center, based in Englewood, will provide snacks and share information about healthy living and nutrition. Afterwards, meet Flat Rock Brook’s birds of prey and compare their own wingspan to some of nature’s most impressive flyers.

Gift bags will be available while supplies last. This event is free, but registration is required. Flat Rock Nature Center is located at 443 Van Nostrand Avenue in Englewood, New Jersey.
