On Sunday, May 3, vintage baseball clubs the Flemington Neshanocks and the Elizabeth Resolutes will square off in a doubleheader using 1864 rules, customs and period uniforms, offering a fascinating glimpse at how dramatically the game has evolved.
First pitch for game one is at 11:00 am, followed by a second game at 1:00 pm.
Admission is free. Bring lawn chairs, blankets and a picnic lunch while enjoying this family-friendly day of living history and old-fashioned baseball. Find more information here. Ringwood Manor is located at 1304 Sloatsburg Road in Ringwood, New Jersey.
