Black Box PAC Events: How to Transcend a Happy Marriage is coming to the Black Box Performing Arts Center in Teaneck March 2nd-March 17.
How to Transcend a Happy Marriage, presented in special arrangement with Samuel French, Inc., is hailed as “a subversive enchantment” It is part absurd domestic serio-comedy, part erotic magic realism, unflinching about taboos and about questioning that, just maybe, monogamy isn’t enough” (Newsday). What starts as a dinner party ends in four friends questioning marriage and love when they are introduced to the alluring and polyamorous Pip. The show features the talents of Brian Aria, Sara Brown, Shari Cohen, Isaac J. Conner, Cassandra Guglielmo, Josh Olumide, Lisa Tiger, and Daniel Yaiullo. The show is directed by Matt Okin and designed by Steve Eiman.
How to Transcend a Happy Marriage plays Thursday-Saturday at 8:00 pm and Sunday at 2:00 pm from March 2nd-March 17th. Preview performances, open to the public, are February 28th and March 1st.
