Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra Concert

Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra Concert: The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra will present its season finale concert on Saturday, May 18th, 8:00 pm at the Syriac Community Hall, 55 W. Midland Avenue, Paramus, New Jersey.

The Bergen Philharmonic Orchestra concert will feature Bergen County resident, Eric Silberger, violinist, and Sara Daneshpour, pianist. Eric Silberger, now an internationally known violinist, is following in Jascha Heifetz’s footsteps as he will perform the Violin Concerto by Julius Conus, which was premiered by Mr. Heifetz. Critics have stated his performances as “spine-tingling…astonishing” (The Guardian), “dazzling virtuoso playing” (The Washington Post). Ms. Daneshpour has been featured as a soloist in many prestigious venues in the US and internationally. “The New York Concert Review wrote, “..she exhibits all the requisites for a high voltage career and more: blazing technique, power, expressivity, imagination, and a lovely stage presence.“ Maestro Cho will conduct the evening’s repertoire: Der Freischütz Overture by Weber, Violin Concerto by Conus, and Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1.
