This one-of-a-kind festival will feature live music, fashion shows, guest speakers and a wide variety of interactive exhibits and demonstrations presenting the region's best good living options and ideas for women and their families.
One of the objectives of The NJ Women's Good Living Festival is to demonstrate in a fun and interactive way, how women can take control of their health and learn the facts they need to make intelligent healthy living choices. The event will celebrate women while emphasizing the opportunity to maintain a healthy lifestyle, including mind, body and spirit, at all ages. Local resources ranging from hospitals, to yoga instructors, to life coaches will be on hand to share information and advice on exercise and fitness techniques, spiritual fulfillment, healthy eating, beauty tips and more.
Demonstrations, one-on-one sessions, giveaways, children's activities and many other activities will make this a fun and memorable day for the entire family.
The Women's 5K Run will be a first-class event, featuring a flat and fast certified course and live music at miles 1 and 2. The race will feature age-group awards, mother-daughter prizes and the prestigious NJ Women's Good Living Festival 5K Trophy and Ultimate Runners Gift Basket for the overall winner.
Women of all ages and abilities are invited to challenge themselves on the 3.1-mile course, all run within the safety of Bergen Community College roads. There will also be a 3K walk, with a portion of the walk's proceeds going to Bergen Community College scholarships. Online registration is available for the 5K Run and 3K Walk.
