Travel 90 million years back in time this Memorial Day weekend at Field Station: Dinosaurs! The Park opens for the season on Saturday, May 24, and is open on Memorial Day, Monday, May 26. Located at Overpeck County Park, Henry Hoebel Area, Fort Lee Road in Leonia, New Jersey, Field Station: Dinosaurs features over thirty life-sized moving, realistic dinosaurs, live shows, games, activities, and special events that connect the story of the dinosaurs to our world today, giving new relevance to their lives and power to the tales of their extinction. Bat Walk in Ridgefield Park: Friday, May 23, at 7:45 pm
Spend an evening learning about the bats that share our skies. The Ridgefield Park Environmental Commission and The Wildlife Conservation Center will host a guided “Bat Walk” led by New Jersey’s own bat specialist, Joseph D’Angeli. The rain date is Sunday, May 25.
