Mission
The Alex Sebahie “Never Back Down Foundation” was created in the memory of Alex Sebahie, a New Jersey wrestler, who was taken from us way too soon. Alex would “Never Back Down”, so our mission is to convert tragedy into opportunity; to pass on that determination and perseverance to local wrestlers in need of assistance and community.
The goal is to help young athletes to excel; not only on the wrestling mat, but to excel in life as contributing young adults in the real world. Wrestling builds character and work ethic, the basic tools to achieve success in life and to make positive choices.
Wrestling also has a dedicated, loyal community of patrons of the sport, a community who should be made available to assist young men and women of all ages and backgrounds. It is this culture of unity and willingness to give back that is our vision; to help continue to grow and support the entire wrestling community as a whole by paying forward #community.

This website was created to keep Alex’s name and legacy alive as well to help other wrestlers and teams that are in need throughout the state of New Jersey. With this website, coaches and families can request help for:

Wrestlers can also apply for scholarships here for financial assistance to college, so that no one ever has to back down from their dreams.
On this website, we also offer different ways that you can contribute to the Alex Sebahie “Never Back Down” Organization. Here, you may purchase apparel for children and adults. We also accept monetary donations that can be accepted on our website. All proceeds made on this website will be donated to the wrestling community.
Our organization understands that not all families and schools have the funds for their children/students. Our mission is simple; to help wrestlers, families, and schools to keep alive the great sport of wrestling and the dreams of our youth. With your help, we hope to one day expand throughout the country.
We are also a big part of the community by partnering up and coming along side our local organizations helping our community residents with food, supplies, etc. Our mission is to be the strong foundation of the community we need to strive. "We are Stronger Together"
In the past two years we have opened opportunities for remote interning through partnerships with William Paterson University, Montclair University and TCNJ. We offer community service hours and help with in the community.
We also delight in using our social media platforms to Encourage, Empower and Inspire the athletes of our community on a daily basis.
