2020 Go the Distance for Autism: The annual Go the Distance for Autism Bike Event will be held on Sunday, June 7th at Bergen Community College, 400 Paramus Road, Paramus, New Jersey. The event is a collaborative effort by four northern New Jersey schools for learners with autism – Alpine Learning Group, The EPIC School, Garden Academy and REED Academy.
Choose from three scenic and fully supported bike routes – 10, 25 and 50 miles. You’re sure to find a distance that’s right for you! A 5k fun run will also be presented.
In addition to the bike event and fun run, the event features an amazing family fun festival with food, music, games, bounce house, face painting, rock climbing wall, a sponsor pavilion and more.
Go the Distance for Autism Schedule:
- 50 mile ride begins at 7:00 am
- 10 and 25 mile rides begin at 9:00 am
- Fun Run begins at 9:15 am
- Family Fun Festival begins at 9:30 am
The funds raised by participants provide direct support for, and changes the lives of individuals with autism and their families right here in the Garden State.
Go the Distance for Autism is a unique event that bands four organizations together to raise funds for a common mission – to provide educational and treatment programs for children and adults with autism. Alpine Learning Group, The EPIC School, Garden Academy, and REED Academy are working together to change the future for those who struggle with autism, spread much needed awareness, and directly impact the lives of children and their families living with autism every day. All four schools are located in northern New Jersey and all monies raised from the Go the Distance for Autism ride support educational and treatment programs for children and adults with autism.
